HALLMARK PLAYHOUSE was yet another weekly dramatic anthology drama series, aimed at the kind of literate people who buy greeting cards. It later morphed into the HALLMARK HALL OF FAME, which soon moved to television as a series which continued for on network for decades, and now is part of the Hallmark Channel.
